Georg Torleif Årbakke (born November 29, 1956; aged 66), is a Scovernois politican who served in a number of domestic and Euclean offices, most recently as Euclean Comissioner for Migration and Citizenship from 2013 to 2017. He also served as Minister of the Economy in the Stein government from 2005 to 2009 and Premier of Scovern from 2009 to 2013.
Årbakke was born to Vestelian parents in Rimso, and graduated from the city's leading Steffanite University of Rimso. He worked as a corporate accountant before joining the LFP in 1994 and winning election to the Rigsdagen for his home city in the 1997 election. In the early 2000s, Årbakke was a leading voice of the neoliberal wing of the LFP, in opposition at the time. When Leiv Stein became premier in 2005, Årbakke was appointed to the economic ministry, implementing neoliberal policies to ease the 2005 recession, in opposition to most other major Euclean economies of the time.
