Conall Cearnaigh (1956 - 11 May 2023) was a Gladysynthian soldier who was the Chief of the Gladys Popular Freedom Fighters, a Gladysynthian nationalist paramilitary group that sought to end Zamastanian rule of the Northern Isle and facilitate its reunification with Gladysynthia. In his youth, Cearnaigh served in the Gladysynthian Armed Forces and participated in the Second Danaska War. Cearnaigh rose to prominence through his military career and by 2012 was made a commander, where he was placed in charge of a counter-terrorism special operations unit to put down an insurgency in Danaska. After his 2012 operations, Cearnaigh melded his unit with local militias to form the GPFF. In 2018, Cearnaigh and several of his loyalist soldiers commandeered a Gladysynthian warship and fired on Lower Tariel, igniting a three-week conflict between Zamastan and Gladysynthia. Cearnaigh received a 60-year prison sentence in 2019 for conspiring to incite war, and he died in prison in 2023 after a cancer diagnosis.
