The Oriental Alliance Party, often called 東海煉獄党 (Japanese: Tōkai Rengoku Tō) or simply OAP, is a centrist political party in Orientia. It is the largest party in the country in both membership and seats, and is the current ruling party.
The party primarily competes with rival Democratic Party. The party opposes left-wing movements as well as monarchist movements emerged from relation with Amenria in favor of republicanism and Asia-Pacific nationalism. The current chairman is Takuya Nakamoto.
First entering government in 2043, the party is the largest in the congress and leads a coalition government with the Constitutional-Democratic Party and the Innovation Party since the latest election in 2047. The party houses a wide variety of opinions from left wing,centrist to right wing ideals, often resulting in the party being referred to as a big tent.
