The Narsoran National Military in Spanish: (Ejército Nacional Narsoran) are the defense forces of Narsora tasked with the protection of Narsoran sovereignty and territory. They comprise of the National Army, National Navy, National Air Force and beginning in 2019, the Narsora Coast Guard. The armed forces are currently undergoing a massive reorganization and improvement program, of which is expected to enter "Phase II" in sometime in the early 2020's.
Conscription
Conscription was abolished in Narsora in 1994, although it can be reinstated if the situation is deemed necessary for it.
Strength
Total strength (as of Oct.2020) is around 100,000 personnel. Beginning 2015, the military began a massive reorganization process, most notably a 34% reduction in total personnel from 187,000 to 110,000. And also reducing the number of reserve personnel and increasing the number of active troops, this is part of Phase l of the military's Programa de Guerra Futura 2030 (English: Future Warfare Program 2030).
Expenditures
The budget for the military was set at around $10.5 billion for the 2020 year, a significant decrease from 2019.
