History

20th Century

Formed in 1960 along with the other original branches, all of the vessels acquired at this time were donated by foreign nations. The force also did not have a naval infantry branch until 1975, in response to the 1973 Torisakian Annexation of González Archipelago.

Modern History

In the early 21st century, the navy has been involved in several conflicts and skirmishes. Mainly with the military forces of the country of Torisakia.

Beginning in the early 2010's, the Navy has begun the process of heavily modernizing its's fleet, decommissioning over 14 vessels.

The National Navy also maintains a 3,000 strong naval infantry force, the 1st Naval Infantry Brigade.
