The Aldrnalfar (lit. Elves of Fire) are elves situated in the Kingdom of Ardenarai, inhabiting the Crown Islands. They are a race that has developed independently from the rest of Kalrania, having their origins in the Lethariil empire established centuries before humanity's age.
Origin
They had their origins at the Lethariil Empire, During these times, they had split from the Sirsensalian group of elves known as the Serren, refusing to take upon the Path of Niwjai that offers spiritual immortality: reincarnation. They are descendants of Antediluvian magi, the very same six founders of the Royal Houses of Ardenarai. Purity of blood allows them to retain the capabilities of their predecessor, and take upon more of their features. It is hypothesized that the Aldrnalfar are distantly related to the Eldamar group of elves down at Vesperia.

The Noble Houses
There are various houses of the Aldrnalfar, all linked together by common genealogy to a certain figure in the past, as the Antediluvian magi of the Lethariil Empire.
House Celorix

The great magi Celorix is described as a being of light. Under his domains are the concepts of unity, healing, and brilliance. This reflects in House Celorix's natural angelic glow, progressively turning brighter to the point of being able to manifest a halo.
House Larai
Larai is the opposite of Celorix, a revolutionary that advocated passion above anything else. Under his domains are freedom, undoing, and obsfucation. They appear to be dull, ash-colored, and may turn completely coal-black depending on their phenotype.
House Bacladeia
Bacladeia was a druid, more alike a natural spirit. Her domains are nature, life, and harmony. Her kinsmen may adopt earthy or floral tones, sprouting leaves and stemss on their body.
House Clardaemos
The Magi-Queen Clardaemos was an infamous slaver, causing the enslavement of the beastmen into Eleutheria. Under her domain is the concepts of binding (enslavement), and illusion. Those of house Clardaemos are diminutive winged creatures, no larger than a human child.
House Nariatai
The visionary Nariatai sought truths beyond the entrapments of the world, and was transformed by the knowledge it sought. Its domain includes Vitraiika, comprehension, and subversion. Nariatai's descendants are disfigured, monster-like in appearance, having to cover up their features through illusion or carnomancy.
House Arzethaal
Arzethaal craved immortality to escape the entrapments of death. His domains are necromancy, and animancy (soul-manipulation). Arzethaal's numbers are few, as the lifespan of even dogs exceed theirs, and thus are forced to engage in necromancy or to bind their souls into objects to extend their life, a price commoners are seldom able to afford.
