Phantasmary Gartentor
Phantasmary is magic of the real phantasm. It is about potential, perception, expectation, imagination, understanding and misunderstanding, subjectivity turned objective, and the erasure of the difference between the real and unreal. Spectacle and presentation are important to a Phantasmiac. music, light, and smoke and mirrors are tools of the Phantasmiac Arts. Storytelling is a great way to channel the potential of Phantasmary. Those with phantastic nature, like fey, have more potent ambiguity to utilize for Phantasmary.

A magician holds an empty hat, yet one cannot see the hat’s inside, so it could contain anything; it therefore contains a rabbit. The mirror looks like a doorway to an extended room, because it is. A rainbow is an illusion of light, but it seems so tangible, like an object with location, size, and form; try touching it. Red is a hot color, can it burn you? Dreamcatchers, made to catch dreams.

Aetherium Averius At its most basic, Aetherium is the use of magic in the form of Aether. Aetherium is generally practiced in a diverse set of ways, though it usually requires the use of rituals and Aetherium. Aether permiates the world and is most noticeably present in various mineral deposits, which are called Aetherium. Use of Aetherium is used as a catalyst in rituals. While not completely requires, its use allows less powerful magic users to have access to the same spells, as Aetherium can make up the difference in innate magical power of the user.

This form of magic has a diverse use, as it can be expressed in countless ways. Aetherium requires careful study and practice, as misuse can result in dire consequences.
