MEGIRBA Song Contest

The MEGIRBA Song Contest, often refered as MESC, was an annual music competition between broadcasters part of the MEGIRBA (Monkey Empire Government International Regional Broadcasting Association). The contest ran between 1969 and 1992 and was formed to provide a future for musicians in the Monkey Empire, as well as creating a cheaper alternative from the WorldVision Song Contest, which had a lot higher expenses compared to the MEGIRBA Song Contest.
