Porgynth, officially the Crown State of Porgynth, is a federal state situated in the base of the Porgynthian Peninsula. It borders The Midlands to the west, Ostria to the south, Lacendynn Sea to the south-east, Ester to the east, and the Bay of Porgynth to the north. With a population of 1.004 million, it is the 24th-most populated state and the 22th-densely populated. With an area of 20,914 km2 (8,075 sq mi), it is the 15th-largest state by area. Despite its proximity to Varnyconne and the Midlands, Porgynth has a very low population. Its capital, Baerys, is situated on the banks of River Ilgorn. Approximately 67% of human development centers around its western border with the Midlands, specifically near Varnyconne. The rest of the population is spread around the state. The Porgynthian Range dominates the upper half of the state. Known for its pine forests and thick fogs during winter, the state is a popular tourist destination for campers and hikers alike.
