The president of Vitulzka (Vistulzkan: Prezydent Wiślańska), officially the president of the Orthodox Republic of Vistulzka (Vistulzkan: Prezydent Prawosławna Republika Wiślańska), is the head of state of the Orthodox Republic of Vistulzka and shares power of the head of government with the Marshal of Vistulzka which is appointed by the president during the election.
The president is the peniultimate director of the federal government as well as the Ducal Council, appointing the Head of the Ducal Council during the election and every member of the Ducal Council after the election. Since the establishment of the Orthodox Republic, the powers and functions of the president have become more intermingled with the Marshal of Vistulzka. Since the Congress of Wełnica, the president has taken a more ceremonial role within the government, but still holds a large amount of influence over government decisions and the composition of the Ducal Council. However, more power has been given to the Marshal and the Ducal Council.
The president is elected to a four-year term, alongside the Marshal and the Head of the Ducal Council. There are no limits to how many presidential terms one elector can be elected, but no person has ever been elected to a third term in office. Orthodox Republican Józef Kamiński is the 56th and current president, having assumed office on August 15, 2020.
