Scoopracing is racing sport performed by one-seat repulsorcrafts, or speeders, called scoops. Popular on planets such as Sazara, Thonoeu, Subbore, and Tuerilia, individuals who compete in these games were also known as scoopracers. Racers perform multiple laps on a particular race track, moving at dangerous and, at times, deadly speeds. Races can be projected in entertainment establishments throughout the galaxy. Scoopracers need to have extremely fast reaction times to compete, as such it is a sport generally partaken in by non-humans. Many systems in the Galactic Union have outlawed scoopracing.
