The Gelonian War of Independence or Third Latin-Gelonian War was an armed conflict fought in Gelonia from 1945 until 1950 between various Gelonian nationalist military and paramilitary groups, later the Kingdom of Gelonia, and Latium. It was an escalation of the Gelonian civil conflict, and a part of the 1940s Belisarian upheaval.

Gaudentia of Roazhon (Gaudentia Rimoete Beatriz Vivienne; b. 22 February 1991), commonly referred to as Princess Gaudentia, is a member of the Gelonian Royal Family. She is the eldest child of Prince Riocus, Duke of Roazhon and his first wife Maely Laorans. At the time of her birth, she was 4th in the line of succession to the Gelonian throne; she is 12th currently.

Gaudentia is best known as an Ohaide of Emperor Nathan IV of Ghant, with whom she currently has two children.

Early life and education

Gaudentia was born on 22 February 1991 at St Tudwal Hospital, in Oxonia. She is the eldest child of Prince Riocus, Duke of Roazhon and his first wife, Lady Maely Laorans, whose marriage also produced a son, Robert. She also has four half-siblings from her father's second marriage to Louise, Duchess of Köstritz. Gaudentia was baptized into the Church of Gelonia at CHURCH in May 1991. Her godparents are Vormvini Menez, Chief Menez; Mae Marec (friend of her father); then Prince Arthur, Duke of Oxonia (her paternal uncle); and Princess Maira of Gaemar (Arthur's wife).

Gaudentia was primarily raised in Oxonia with her parents and brother. She was educated at public school for primary schooling at her mother's behest, though attended a private, Church of Gelonia-affiliated institution for secondary school. Gaudentia began her tertiary education, in 2009, at Oxonia City University. She left the university after her first semester, citing her parents' divorce as the primary reason. She enrolled at City College of Velia, in Castellum, for the spring 2011 semester, and took a gap year for all of 2010. During her gap year, Gaudentia spent most of her time in Ghish, and was often seen at Inperiala Palace. In 2013, Gaudentia
