Sir George Aldworth GOE, JMH, JAOcE, GC-PM (Xiaodongese:乔治奥德沃思; Qiáozhì Ào dé wò sī) was an Estmerish politician and colonial administrator who served as the first Governor of Jindao from the position's establishment in 1937 to 1945.
Appointed by Estmerish President Wolfgar Godfredson in 1937, Aldworth oversaw the de-Gaullicisation of the city, renaming many places within Jindao but most notably quickly reforming the Jindanese curriculum to introduce Estmerish as a compulsory language. Aldworth also introduced increasing liberalised economic policies into the Jindanese economic system and is regarded as one of the leading figures in the establishment of Jindao's economic policies today. Aldworth resigned from the position on November 1, 1945, after having successfully overseen the implementation of his policies for almost nine years. He retired to the island of Yanhui and died there in 1963.
