The Republican Guard (RG) is a branch of the Carlosian Armed Forces, answerable directly to the President of Carloso. It is the second newest of the branches of the Armed Forces, established by the Republican Guard Act 2015. The Republican Guard is itself divided into several forces; the Capital Defence Corps, responsible for the defence of Madrigal, the National Defence Corps paramilitary force and the secretive Special Intervention Forces.
