Calvardian War
The Calvardian War (1813 - 1820) was a military conflict fought by Calvard, Erebonian Empire, and the United Kingdom, against the invading and occupying forces of Aurucolia for control of the Calvard Region of Zemuria during the Sandoric War. The war began when Sandor I forced Willem V out of power as Stadtholder of Calvard and installed his brother, Barnabás Roskoványi as King of Calvard following his creation of the Kingdom of Calvard under Aurucolian rule. Most Calvardian rejected Aurucolian rule and fought a bloody war to force the Aurucolians out.
Following the Battle of Alterra, the Erebonian government and Calvardian government under Willem V signed the Peace of Alterra, in which the Erebonians and Calvardians agreed to declare peace after fighting several conflicts between the two nations in order to focus on fighting and ousting Aurucolian rule from Scandinavia. The war in Calvard lasted until 1820, when the Sixth Coalition defeated Sandor I at the Battle of Adanti.
