Battle of May Mắn Nồi (EWII)
The Battle of May Mắn Nồi, also known as the Battle in the Bloody Rain by the Allies and codenamed Operation Chickamauga, was a major battle in the Northern Quenmin Campaign during the last year of the Asianna and the Pacific Campaign. The battle was spearheaded by the Concordian Tenth Army against the Quenminese 2nd Homeland Defense Imperial Front. It lasted approximately a month, and ended with an Allied victory with numerous casualties on both sides. The Tenth Army was almost rendered combat ineffective after many Quenminese ambushes and counterattacks despite the latter's hopeless circumstances. However, the 2nd Homeland Defense Imperial Front ceased to be viable fighting force, and its forces were splintered as mere pockets.
