Tsukasa Shinichi (15 October 1994) is a New Akibander soldier currently serving under Task Force 141 as part of the ATS Contingent.
In her early age, Tsukasa is often bullied, being that she was raised alone by her mother. Her family was also one of the poorest in her area, as a result, she often wore the same outfit every day. She was often teased and said that she smelled. However, her family was able to flourish when they were resettled as part of Prime Minister Tsujimura Seiji's plan of resettling street hoodlums and impoverished families. Her mother received work that paid 20 Gils per hour. Soon, Tsukasa was able to go to a government-funded college, as a result, her tuition was free.
Later on, Tsukasa decided to enlist in the army as she hoped to be a communication officer. Here, he became friends with Kyoko Sougo, a Nihhonese assignee to New Akiba. They were later transferred to Zanarkand, where Tsukasa and Kyoko became members of Task Force 141. Here, she would meet Travis Henderson, whom found her appearance to be amazing. Despite Tsukasa's hair sometimes being unkempt, Travis would often fix her hair for her, much to her delight. This later would be the start of their relationship.
