HMS Anelyn Trento ("Big Annie") is the lead ship of her class of battleships, possessing the namesake of the current Monarch of Cacerta. She is the first nuclear-powered battleship of the Royal Navy and successfully circumnavigated the world as a single vessel. The Anelyn and her sister ships are considered the most advanced Cacertian warships afloat by combining advanced electronic systems, various missile platforms, and massive 420mm guns. As of her commissioning in 2013, she has been the command vessel of the Royal Navy's 1st Carrier Strike Fleet.

The Anelyn was ordered in January 2010 and was built over the course of three years as one of the shortest large-scale projects ever conducted by the Royal Shipbuilders of Cacerta. After a number of successful trials between May and June of 2013, she was commissioned for service and is the current flagship of the Navy and the lead vessel of the 1st Carrier Strike Fleet.

Construction

Anelyn is the lead ship of her class of nuclear-powered battleship designs that was created in 1986. The original project, however, was scrapped in favor of the newer Destroyer Programs and was only renewed under the rule of Queen Anelyn. The Anelyn was the first ship of this new class, named after the monarch who gave it life, and was launched on 27 May 2013. She was sponsored by House Davion and underwent sea trials under the command of Grand Admiral Doria before being commissioned on 14 June under the command of Captain Hanna Doria.

Her main armament consists of a massive bank of missiles that range from anti-ship, anti-air, and anti-submarine. This makes the Anelyn capable of engaging a multitude of enemies at sea. She also possesses a small number of cruise missiles to use in support of ground operations. Her secondary armament is a battery made up of six 420mm RN-SMBI naval guns which are capable of firing 1,400 kilogram armor-piercing shells up to a maximum range of 40 kilometers (21.6 nautical miles). Her battery is housed in triple-gun turrets located fore and aft.

Service

Since her activation, the Anelyn has served as the flagship of the Royal Navy and command vessel of its 1st Carrier Strike Fleet. She has seen little combat but has performed consistently during various military exercises at sea. Following her commissioning, she underwent a trial to test its unlimited capabilities and went on to circumnavigate the globe under her own power, making stops at ports only to resupply or visit a specific nation as scheduled.
