Samuel Valestine (15 November 1963) is an Erebonian author and retired officer who served in Task Force 131.

Samuel is known for his ladies man personality, in which he is often seen visiting dance clubs and mixers with close friends Gerald Alexander Fegelein and Frank John Brennan. Although the trio often fail getting into relationships, they often have a habit of laughing it off until they joined Task Force 131, where they met each other's respective matches. Samuel is the leader of the fire team that consists of his close friends and 2 other fellow TF 131 operatives. Samuel would later meet Risa Adams, a woman whom they teased for often wearing cat ears with her uniform. Despite Samuel's constant teasing, he would fall in love with Risa and eventually, the two began a relationship. Samuel and Risa were married in 1989. They have 1 child, Sarah Valestine who currently serves as an instructor at the Thors Military Academy.

Samuel is now retired from military service. At present, he currently publishes a series of novels that describe what he had experienced as a soldier.
