Richard Valestine (15 July 1922) is a retired Erebonian officer who served during the Second Europan War and the War of Lorican Aggression.
Initially a schoolteacher, he enlisted in the army following the Imperials threatening to invade his family's ancestral lands in the Sutherland province. While in boot camp, he developed a close bond with fellow Erebonian Läurni Berg and Rubrumian Rickard Keith, during when Rubrumian and Erebonian formations were amalgamated. Later on, they would be recruited over by the Special Operations Executive and form Oboe Company, a formation in conjunction with the Special Air Service. Later on during the war, he would be one of the founding leaders of the Erebonian Special Air Service, which was the Erebonian counterpart of the original SAS following his return to Erebonia.
He is the grandfather of Sarah Valestine and the great-grandfather of Hinara Fegelein.
