Jaan Kask is the second and current Archon of Jedoria, in office since 2014. He served as Minister of Public Development from 2010 to 2013. During the Jedorian Civil War he served as a Senior Representative to the Jedorian Combine Rebels, rising to command the Army of Ceslovas during the final phases of the war.
Kask would go on to serve in the post-war Jedorian government, first as Minister of Public Development between 2010 and 2013. During that time Kask oversaw reconstruction efforts in the states of Satalice and Radstadt and helped to reopen the Luminovian Canal. During the 2014 general election Kask was selected to represent the All Union Party within the Federal Council, where he was elected with 61% of the vote. Kask was sworn into office 1 March, 2013.
Since then Kask has focused most of Jedoria's national attention on reconstruction, which is slated to last until 2038. Kask's policies and budgetary initiatives have primarily focused on increasing standards and availability of education along with infrastructure overhauls and repair. In economic affairs Kask has attempted to develop Jedoria's fledging service sector, but has faced criticism for his perceived lack of focus on free trade and furthering international commerce between Jedoria and international partners. In foreign affairs Kask has pushed for closer ties with the Galenosphere while also maintaining a generally non-interventionist policy.
