The Valtrivan Armed Forces (Valtrivan:Puzbrolusvenyma Valtrijva) is the military of Valtriva. The Armed Forces consist of three branches the Land Forces, Air Force and the Border Guard. The commander in chief of the Valtrivan Armed Forces is the President of Valtriva. Universal conscription is in place where all Valtrivan nationals serve a total of 9 months and are eligible from ages 18-31. The Valtrivan armed forces is primarily concerned with the defence of the nation at all costs. Border guards perform passport and customs checks as well as monitoring cross border smuggling. The Valtrivan Land Forces posses a regiment called the Inland water defence which is classed as a Brown-water navy and is responsible for activities on Valtriva’s lakes and rivers.
