Each TWDC fleet operates 2 CVEs, with one on patrol and one in harbor at all times. The CVEs provide the air element for the TWDC fleets. The escort carriers operate a variety of helicopters and the Sienar Aerospace Systems Twin Internal Engine (TIE) VTOL fighter aircraft. |
