Marshal Victor Sazabio (20 September 1892 - 31 August 2002) was a prominent Archadian military officer in the Kingdom of Archadia-Archedes's Regio Imperiale Esercito. He served during the First Europan War and gained attention during the late part of the war when he trained the first Archadian Bersaglieri forces and training them for a modern warfare. He became a General just before the Second Europan War and was assigned in overseeing Archadia's East Africanna colony, and later was assigned in 1936 to serve in the Middle East Campaign.
Considered by many to be the second best Archadian General during the Second Europan War; His Quenminese counterpart, Marshal Count Thạch Hung Sõn Chiến consistently looked down on him because of his refusal to possess an aggressive war nature. Sazabio never did take many initiatives because his tactic in battle has always been analytic unlike his counterpart, who takes aggression as a way to win. Quenminese generals Kiều Dũng Quang and Vương Thị Lệ noted his strict and analytic behavior. Lệ noted that "Sazabio was the most down-to-earth man I have ever met. He will always approach, even a simple foot solider". Quang noted in his memoirs that "Sazabio, although a cunning and capable commander, never stoops to the level of cruelty as Chien or anyone had".
Since 1941, Chien had a dislike of Sazabio, especially when he had spared the Darscen populace during the Battle of Baghdada and refused to commit mass executions on civilian populace. Marshal Chien had attempted to strip him command of the Archadian forces and place it under a Quenminese general but Archadian High Command had refused, and so did his superiors because Sazabio was a Marshal and had immunity. He also had defied orders to execute every Allied prisoner captured during the Second Battle of Seleucia and mostly had sent them into prison camps. He later set them free when Archadian Forces started a retreat eastward, an act that Lucian General Archibald Sugiyama had kept in mind throughout his life.
He honourably surrendered to the Allies after the Central Highlands Campaign alongside his Archadian and Quenminese colleagues. During the Cao Khoat Trials, allied prisoners testified on Sazabio's magnanimity to them and was therefore acquitted. He later served as the Military Adviser to Quenmin and as well as the Advisor in establishing the Royal Hưng Yên Police Force under Lucian control. During the Sanguinoso Colpo, Sazabio was one of the veterans who opposed the Fascist government. After Archadia's transition to democracy, Sazabio returned home to his home in Bari until he died with his family and 3 great-grandchildren present.
