Jannick Steffan Björn Lennart Liebehenschel (20 June 1880 – 25 January 1976) was an East Europan general officer who commanded the 26th Panzer Division of the Seleucia Korps.
His first armored command came during the Estharian Civil War, where he was in charge of a panzer regiment. During this time, he came to know his future contemporaries Alexander Sundermann and Ulrich Dietrich von Braun. During the Second Europan War, Jannick was promoted to General der Panzertruppe, and given command of the 26th Panzer Division in the Seleucia Korps to issue support to the Quenminese and Archadians in the Middle East. Later in the war, he would come to meet Phó Minh Duyên when Mạc Hiếu Quang replaced Thạch Hung Sõn Chiến as commander of the Middle East Expeditionary Front, and both became friends until their deaths, with Jannick taking inspiration from him for improving his armored tactics. They would come to despise Chiến for being wasteful of their material, and this sentiment reached its height during the Battle of Ratheyinegyun, when Chiến ordered their armored divisions in a desperate and imprudent counteroffensive move against the Darscen Independent Armored Brigade. He retired from the Army and served as an instructor in military academies until his retirement in 1969.
Jannick can feel superior at times, but remains open to new suggestions and a shrewd officer in applying armored columns effectively.
