Cislania (Weranic: Kisland) officially known as the Kingdom of Cislania (Weranic: Königreich Kisland) is a constituent state within the Weranian Confederation. Cislania is the largest state in Werania by both size and population, containing 16,589,362 people. It also contains three of Werania's largest cities - Wiesstadt, Ostdorf am Main and Siegberg.
Cislania traditionally has been the most dominant Weranian state within the modern borders of Werania. Initially Cislania was divided between several smaller duchies, chiefly Lower and Upper Cislania with both being part of the Rudolphine Confederation. Both duchies became a personal union in 1457 when the Duke of Upper Cislania inherited Lower Cislania uniting them under the House of Schwarzollen. The House of Schwarzollen and by extension the Cislanian duchies would dominate the confederation from 1514 to their defeat in the Amendist Wars in 1587. Returning to pre-eminence in 1607 Cislania would be a centre of the Weranian Revolution wherein its monarch was executed and the duchies dissolved. Following the fall of the Weranian Republic a unified Cislanian state, the Kingdom of Cislania under the House of Schwarzollen-Brücken, would emerge. The unified kingdom would lead Weranian Unification and subsequently dominate the unified Werania. The kingdom maintained a personal union with Ruttland until 1994.
Cislania is the largest state in Werania with its economy consisting of almost a third of Werania's as a whole and Wiesstadt being Werania's largest city. Sitting on the Neeves before transitioning into plains and hill Cislania is known for being culturally, politically and economically the heart of the Weranian state. It also is home to some of the biggest technology companies in Euclea alongside financial institutions.
