Outline of The Empire

The following outline is an overview and list of relevant links pertaining to The Empire, a nation that exists within both the Noble Dog project and Frozen Forests project.

The Empire is a nation located in the Middium Region, within the West Continent. It lies south of the Leporids. There are no countries that lie to the south of it outside of several distant Cow Colonies from the East. The Empire is the largest country in the world.

Government

Form of Government: Sovereign ecclesiocratic semtiumvirate representative constitutional monarchy
- Ecclesiocratic - Officially, the Empire's state religion is the Northern Atyaic Orthodox Church of the Imperial Faith, and include religion in the Court of Omens. However, the state allows citizens the right to practice or reject any form of religion. The Court of Omens has since been delegated to handling internal affairs with Imperial Faith and both Orthodox and Heterodox denominations.
- Semtiumvirate - The Empire is led by the Imperial Diet, made up of the First Nobles of the Seven Houses which are the most powerful houses within the Empire. The Semtiumvirate meets every year and elects a new noble house to rule as the familial line for the Empire for a century.
- Constitutional Monarchy - Despite the name of The Empire and the title of The Emperor, the country is controlled by the Imperial Council, a unicameral legislature that is meant to represent both the Nemesseg and Polgarsag. The Emperor is able to overrule the Imperial Council, but is also able to be removed by the Imperial Diet if he is found to be in violation of constitutional rights of the nobles and the people.
