In popular culture

As the most famous gambling establishment in the world, the casino has been the subject of paintings, films, music, novels, and other works of art nearly since its inception. It is the namesake of the Montecara method and Montecara algorithm in mathematics, both of which are so named because they are based on randomness (as in a casino game).
