Bor Qagan (?-917) |
896–917 | The first qagan of the Zalyks, Bor led the itinerant Zalyks to settle in western Soravia during the Tagamic Migrations. The qaganate was founded at Yalmta by Bor in 896. | Yekeidun |

917–919 | Asugbal was a close ally of Bor, but quickly lost the faith of the tribe due to his poor combat skills. He was deposed and killed by the Ghazan clan in 919. | Yekeidun | |

Dei Sigurdu Qagan (906–944) |
938–944 | Led the first major territorial expansion into Pavatria and, with his advisors, transformed and centralised the qaganate into a feudal society. His renowned battlefield skills earned him respect across all the Zalyk clans, despite his reforms that curtailed their independence. Dei Sigurdu formalised the concept of primogeniture in the qaganate. Died in battle near Yakuvka. | Ghazar |

960 | Bayan Olgei was elderly when he succeeded to the throne as the younger brother of the childless Chuluunbold. Unrest between the Ghazars and other major clans over reformation culminated in open rebellion. Bayan Olgei was killed after only a few months as qagan. | Ghazar | |

962–963 | Qagan at 19, Delbeg administrated almost entirely through advisors. He spent nearly all of his reign leading raids into nearby Ravnia. His absence led to the rise of a small clique of advisors, who deposed him in a bloodless coup after only a year. | Munglig | |

Narin Kegen Qagan (917–995) |
963–995 | Narin Kegen was leader of the advisory clique who perpetrated the coup d'état against Delbeg. He was an elder of the Jetei clan, who were the most prominent religious clan through the qaganate, and garnered significant respect among his peers. His forces led a large eastwards expansion, and during his reign the city of Ulan Khol was founded. | Jetei |
