Brigadier Dame Katerose Ulrika von Kahlenberg DLE, JGD, COJG (21 March 1921) is a retired Jutlander senior officer. She is known for being the first female in Jutland-Gimli's history to be promoted to a rank of seniority, at a time when men held senior ranks. She is also known for her tight friendship with fellow commanders Allone Grønkjær, Sagaru Yamada, and later husband Murasame Susaya. She was promoted to Brigadier in 1949, just a year after all hostilities rooting from EWII ended and she subsequently retired from army life, subsequently settling down in 1949 in Rubrum with her husband and giving birth to their first son, WoLA veteran Takihiro Susaya.
Katerose was the youngest daughter of Baron Hans Georg von Kahlenberg, one of Jutland-Gimli's most famous generals during the First Europan War. Her father was initially against the idea of her joining the army but it all changed when she proved that she can handle herself. Her father gave his blessing and she travelled to Rubrum, where many Jutlandish officers attended senior training. She attended the Royal Military Academy of Calgary where she met her future husband. She found herself commission as a field commander for the group as a Captain. When she and her group formed Task Force Gimle, she found herself serving in the frontlines as a commissioned CO of Queen Caroline's Jutlandish Highlanders. She developed her sense of prowess in strategic operations, inspired by her father. She was subsequently promoted to Major in late 1941. She continued her service throughout the war and found love within her commanding officer. She formed a tight bond with Colonel Susaya. which they would marry at the end of the war. She followed her husband during the Post Second Europan War Crisis of 1945 until it ended in 1948. She turned down the offer to be commissioned as Divisionary General but for her service, was promoted to Brigadier just months before she retired from army life.
She now lives in Calgary with her husband and their family, still running a coffee shop that she opened in 1950.
