Borderlands, also known as the Region of Borderlands, is a region within far western Averius.

Etymology

The Borderlands, as a name originally comes from the fact that it is a border region of the Empire.

Population

The Borderlands has a population of 5 million people. Of the 5 million population, about 3.5 million live in cities of 50,000 or more in population. Of the remaining 1.5 million. The remaining 1.5 million live on farms, plantations, or small farming communities.

Of the population, 80% are able to work, while 20% are too young or unqualified to do so. The Averius has an average of 1% population growth rate per year and 10% per decade.

The Borderlands Region of the Empire has a GDP of A$5.47 billion.

Agriculture

The Borderlands region of the Empire has 100,000 km2 of farmland, used mostly to produce wine and beer. About 100 Liters of wine (100 Imperial Bottles) and 9,000 liters of beer (18,000 beer cans) can be produced per hectare of land. As a result, the Borderlands region produces 500 million bottles of wine and 45 billion cans of beer at A$1 per bottle and A$0.05 per can, respectively. As a result of this, Agriculture contributes A$2.75 billion to the region's GDP.
