It is a planet populated by civilizations with a mixture of varying technological levels, from the stone age to entire societies with both futuristic and fantasy themes, although the majority is still at a contemporary digital age.
History
The Diluvian Cataclysm (1 a.C)
The Diluvian Cataclysm is an event where Kalrania's calendar starts. It is a disaster taking place all around the world, where major tectonic movements had caused the eruption of super-volcanoes, coupled with the melting of glaciers, have sparked a massive flood that engulfed entire peninsulas, particularly around Vesperia. The event had blocked out the sun for a whole year due to the lingering effects of volcanic stratospheric aerosols. By the time the ashes have settled down, the years that went on by were known as "Anno Emergendi", and before the Diluvian Cataclysm would be "Anno Cadendum".
