The Anomalous Research and Containment Institute (A.R.C) is a secret organisation with the sole intention of eliminating or containing any object, entity or knowledge of anomalous or eldritch design.

History

Foundation

The Anomalous Research and Containment Institute (A.R.C) was founded in 2006 by the nations of The Confederacy of Distan and The Dze Confederation in the aftermath of what's known by the organisation as the first rift incident.

Destructors

The primary and most common field operatives, its the duty of Destructor operatives to locate and neutralise any entities deemed to be either hostile or to locate and capture entities to be studied.

The average destructor operatives equipment varies heavily depending on their role. some of the unifying sets of equipment that all destructors use are the fully encasing and highly advanced MAILS-APS armour system with an enlarged air system, a back portable anchor system which offers unparalleled protection against hostile action from any supernatural means such as magical or psionic threats, the H&L Hliam, Service Pistol chambered with munitions containing a potent chemical weapon and the CCW-K electro blade.
