In around 2 BC the city of Vrelin's leader, Rolf Tatlkervor, declared himself the King of Vrelia. Not many people took it very seriously, as not much changed about the way of life in Vrelin. People commonly migrated across the Faloplin Peninsula to get away from the rules of Vrelin. But things in Vrelin did eventually change, King Rolf raised a military and large walls around the city. The walls are now known as the Inner City of Vrelin as the city kept expanding and adding new walls. As Vrelin expanded, in 84 AD Rolf Tatlkervor II offered farmers free housing in the Outer City if they gave 20% of their harvest to the government. Hundreds accepted the deal and it even caused some of the Vrelians across the Faloplin Peninsula to come back to Vrelin. The Vrelian Kingdom had become a major power in southwest Thrismari, and only continued to prosper into the second century.

Respecting his dying wish an election was held and won by Luca Aukinet, who died before he could be coronated so his daughter, Anica Aukinet, claimed that the throne was hers and took it. Many historians speculate that Anica killed her father to take the throne so she could become the first female leader in Vrelian and later Faloplin history. Because her first order as Queen of Vrelia was to remove the law preventing women from taking the throne. She removed several other laws that limited women in any way, voting, jobs, education, etc. Her next decree was to create a royal advisory board, a basic version of the idea that created the parliament later. in 201 Anica Aukinet died. The way of Faloplin democracy with a royal advisory body continued until 344 when Orell Caisch took the throne and removed the democratic system.

Many historians attribute the fall of the Vrelian Empire to lack of money and control. Vrelia had no money after going on so many conquests that it couldn't afford to pay it's military, so it started minting alot more money, which caused mass hyperinflation. And all across the Vrelian Empire especially in modern Riamo and Fallooplesburg. Riots, corruption, and insane prices became daily occurences in the early 8th century. Rioting turned into revolution as 8 rich Faloplin families organized their own militaries and marched on Vrelin, in 842 the last Caisarch died without an heir. The Faloplin Military is a very important part of the country, it is seen as a symbol of national unity, pride, and industrial strength. A two year period of military service is compulsory for all healthy citizens in the country. The second week in November is known as Military Week, the festivities span the whole country.
After the fall of the Vrelian empirem during the mid-800s the richest, most powerful families in what would become Fallooplesburg herded their local citizens together and created several small monarchies known as Zæntoms (the Faloplin word for city-state) to try and take advantage of the political instability. The Families were the Mairels, Ailmirs, Steigers, Jevines, Ledods, Aegirs, Orins, and Annecis. They each had their own small state and would trade and fight occasionally. In the early 900s the Jevines declared war on the Orins and after a couple of years of warfare annexed them, the Orins were banished and they fled to Ailmir territory. In the late 900s Anneci territory was becoming increasingly unstable, peasants were unhappy with the Anneci family in their territory and attempted a coup. The family was able to flee and seeming disappeared for a few years until they were found reporting the discovery of Deln upon which they founded the city of Dufarstiato, which later became the capital of Fallooplesburg and is still the largest city in Fallooplesburg. The Steigers later invaded the Anneci's land a few months after they left and the citizens failed to make a new leader.

He made it all the way out to Athbet, the capital of House Mairel. in 1096 he married Isabel von Mairel and became Clemens von Mairel. In 1097 he won the election and took the crown in 1105. The basic premise of Usklontin is that everyone has a purpose and you keep getting reincarnated until you achieve your purpose where once you do you'll go to the Usklontin equivalent of heaven. This lead to a lot of things becoming legalized and illegalized in Fallooplesburg slavery was outlawed and same-sex marriage was legalized. Author and artists that impressed Clemens got extra publicity leading to some of the most famous and best works of art and literature in Fallooplesburg. The Faloplin economy was booming, all healthy people from 11-64 probably had jobs. The textile, book, and food industries led Fallooplesburg. But working conditions were poor very poor. And some Faloplins became worried about the Factories' effect on the environment. Poor working conditions led to the start of Labor Unions in Fallooplesburg but they couldn't cover the majority of the Faloplin population.
And eventually the Majority of the population was fed up with their poor working conditions and decided to revolt in 1794. In 1795 when the war was over several new laws were put in place protecting workers and making all factories comply with Faloplin working standards. On May 5th, 1794 a coordinated strike happened against the factories. The majority of workers refused to work until their demands were met. The economy took a significant hit. Workers, during the several months they were on strike, would openly protest in the streets or convince as many of their friends as they could to join them on strike. By January 17th of 1795, 60% of the working population were on strike. After that they sent their demands to the Monarch and Parliament.

Shortly into his reign he declared himself the Caisarch of the Second Vrelian Empire, taking all industry under state control and dismissing the Parliament. If you look at any graph having to do with the economy of Fallooplesburg you can see the scar that this move made.

In 1945 the Moor Electric Company announced it's first nuclear reactor. At first it was there as more of a publicity stunt, it wasn't thought that it would add any more power then any other power plant. But after the first few years, the nuclear reactor was performing very well. So the at the time CEO, Nika Moor, ordered the construction of several new nuclear plants across the country. Once they opened the Moor Electric Company shuttered several of their coal and oil plants and sold the materials abroad.
The Faloplin Government noticed how efficient the Nuclear Reactors were and began commissioning the Moor Electric Company for designs that incorporate Nuclear Power, in the 1960s. None of them saw production, as they always had a glaring issue that made it impractical but that didn't stop the experimentation with Nuclear Power as a whole though. While the Faloplin Government was creating new vehicles for it's military. The MEC began investing in new Power Plant designs.
During the 70s the MEC began building reactors with several new radioactive elements, and even some attempted synthetic elements. Plutonium was the only that seemed to be as useful as Uranium. At this time the MEC was bought by the Faloplin Government as it was the main provider of a community resource. Reports say that the Faloplin Government needed copies of the test results and many theorize that it was for the failed WMD Program that was defunded a few years later.
In the 90s, Thorium, a new radioactive element, was discovered in Fallooplesburg. And testing with it begun in 2002 and is continuing to this day.

After the War was over the families Orin and Anneci were given noble status and land to replace the families exiled or executed.

The Second Faloplin Civil War was started when the winning candidate of the September 2020 election, Lionel von Jevine. Murdered the incumbent King Noah von Ailmir to claim the throne. Which launched the Jevine Pact consisting of Houses Jevine, Ledod, and Aegir into war with the Coalition of Fallooplesburg consisting of Houses Mairel, Ailmir, and Steiger. After several months of warfare the Third Faloplin Civil War came to a close.
This resulted in the execution of the Jevine family and the exile of the Ledod and Aegir families. And the reinstation of House Orin and House Anneci. As well as Erika von Mairel taking the throne in December of 2020 as the runner-up in the September 2020 election.

The major trade centers are Dufarstiato, Odessa, and Vrelin because of their large ports. Fallooplesburg uses a mixed economy system, where as there are many private-owned businesses there's a lot of state-controlled like the Bank of Fallooplesburg, which is the only bank in Fallooplesburg. The central currency of Fallooplesburg, Verres, is worth 0.86 ACU. Wealth in Fallooplesburg is fairly evenly distributed with the poorest 10% making about 22,000 ACU and the richest 10% making about 42,000 ACU. Wealth is generally respected and poverty has been rising in the past few months. Although the poverty level is going down due to the economic reforms being put in place. Counterfeiting is almost non-existent because of how hard it is to counterfeit Verres.

The Monarchy is above the Nobility, which if you are a Cenihenkin (Member of Parliament) You are considered a noble. The others in the Nobility are the members of various houses which have their own leaders.
