The Supreme Court of Arabi is the highest-ranking judicial body in the United Socialist States. Its membership consists of one Chief Justice of Arabi and eight associate justices, any six of whom would constitute a quorum. Article III, Section I, Clause I of the Constitution grants plenary power to the President of Arabi to nominate, and with the advice and consent (confirmation) of the Arabin Senate, appoint justices to the Supreme Court. Justices have a mandatory retirement at age 75, and receive a salary which is set at $155,000 per year for the chief justice and at $144,000 for each associate justice as of 2010.
The Supreme Court was created by Article III of the United Socialist States Constitution, which stipulates that the "judicial power of the United Socialist States, shall be vested in one Supreme Court," and was organized by the 1st Arabin Congress.

Since the Supreme Court was established in 1839, 93 people have served on the Court. The length of service on the Court for the 84 non-incumbent justices range from Elizabeth Davidson's 28 years, 71 days to the 77-day tenure of James Morrow. As of August 17, 2016; the length of service for the nine incumbent justices ranges from Robert Kirby's 33 years, 331 days to Peter Cooke's 7 years, 266 days.
