The 8th Air Wing (8 FW) is an Aquitaynian Air Force unit, assigned to Colonial Command (COLCOM), and by extension the United Insulan Command (UICOM) Operations Group. It is stationed at Freiyer Air Force Base, Cape Town. The 8th flies the F-29 Warrior, M.Cs 82 Illusion, and GM-25 Cuirassier air supremacy fighters.

Overview

The 8th Air Wing "Fightin' Few" maintain combat readiness to deploy worldwide in accordance with Ministry of Defense tasking. Operating a multitude of aircraft, the air wing is one of the foremost units within Colonial Command's structure and sphere of influence, and is capable of responding to high-threat situations and areas.
