The AV20 Landing Craft Combatant is a class of air-cushioned landing craft in service with and being produced for the Meridonian Navy. Designed as a revision of existing amphibious landing crafts and addressing needs both for integration into the Comprehensive Commando Carrying Initiative (CCC-I) and for domestic transport and disaster response duties, the AV20 has served as the primary ship-to-shore cargo transport for the Meridon Defense Forces since its inception in the 1990s. It is unique in its mounting of a Type 40 25mm RCG similar to the types utilized on HMMAV air defense vehicles.
