Abemus Kumar (1866-1916) was a colonel in the Triple Crown military before serving as a military leader in the short-lived Transitional Emergency State of Hortankh Bolsar and ultimately has its second and last chairman. Even before the civil war, he was known as Bolsar's right hand man and his main executant. He notably played a central role in the repression of socialists and liberals movements between 1909 and 1913 in operations that were generally masterminded by Bolsar himself, and unofficialy greenlighted by the Monarchy. Ultimately, his reputation carried out into the Civil War, as he was placed in charge of what Bolsar's opponents and partisans alike nicknamed the "Death Squads".
After the assassination of Bolsar, Kumar managed to quickly grab the position of Chairman and secure it with the help of his Squads and of a small core of partisans, starting a purge of all Bolsarists elements not entirely loyal to him. He would rule over the Transitional Emergency State for only two years before a coalition of rival Bolsarists partisans, who allied with Vilvo Orbraggar, betrayed and assassinated him before allowing Orbraggar to occupy the entirety of the territories held by the Emergency State, pursuing the Kumarists Death Squads and other elements that had remained loyal.
