The Almaty Pact (AP /eɪpʰiː/; Kezagri: Алматы пактісі; Standard Ruotsi and Saint Perryan: Almaty pakten; Nova Cameroonian Oktadonian: Pécta d'Élméty; Texan and Valtaran: Almaty Pact; Tanah Rayan: Pakta Almaty; PA), is a regional economic union that was established on January 5th, 2026. The pact aims to foster economic development, promote free trade, and encourage closer cooperation among its member nations. The pact includes nine member countries, namely Boratstans, Nova Cameroon, Ruotsaland, Saint Perry, Valtara,Tanah Raya and Texas Federation. The Scorpian Federation and the Union-Siberian Socialist-Monarchy were also member nations before their memberships were revoked on August 1st, 2026 due to the two nations joining the Locotiman Commonwealth and having to withdraw their membership. Union-Siberian Socialist-Monarchy and Azeria are partner nations of Almaty Pact.

Before, during, and for a time after the Boratstanian-Scorpian War, the Almaty Pact was relatively inactive. However, with the inclusion of Saint Perry and Nova Cameroon in early 2026, the pact has become more active in creating laws and bills that aim to facilitate easier travel and trade between its member nations while also reducing taxation.

Despite the pact's primary focus on uniting non-major countries to increase their global influence, the pact's membership is restricted to countries within the areas of Elisia, North and South Laurentia, and Takaria. There are exceptions to this rule, which are considered on a case-by-case basis. For example, Valtara was able to join the pact even though it is located outside the regions specified in the membership criteria.

Impact

Boratstans

Boratstans has been mostly positively impacted by creating/joining AP. It boosted trust in foreigners and international trade for Boratstans, and boosting foreign diplomacy. Citizens of Boratstans view AP membership as positive aspect, enabling easier travel, more goods to buy, and new chances at learning new subjects and languages.

Texas Federation

Though the majority of Texans were suspicious of joining an international alliance, they were relieved to hear that a majority of the laws passed are not required to take. They also appreciate the lack of tarrifs between each member-state. Overal, the majority see the Almaty Pact as positive a force.

Disputes and controversies

The Union-Siberian Socialist-Monarchy and the Scorpian Federation left AP on 1st August, 2026. Both left the AP to acession into the Locotimian Commonwealth. The representatives of the Almaty pact countries decided to improve the pact more after this. On the same day Locotimian Queen Margaret has shown large hate and distrust into Almaty Pact, calling that "it needs to be dissolved imidietly" and other hateful messages. This started large controvery and lead up to Almaty Pact condemning her actions after the Telrovan Assembly meeting on 7th August. The situation cooled down but large numbers of AP citizens still are againts Locotima and it's Queen.

As of currently the Crown Royal of Siberia still follows AP lawbook despite not being a member state. This is "a act of defiance" against Queen of Locotima Margaret's 'total power' over the Siberia. Siberia has been met with lot of backlash for their violations of AP lawbook and constitution.
