The facility is under the jurisdiction of the Zamastanian Air Force and is adjacent to Tofino International Airport. The base is named for Lieutenant General Julius Anderson (1884–1943), former Commanding General of Zamastanian Armed Forces in the Ausianan Theater of Operations during the World War. The base is widely known for serving as the home base of two Toring 797 aircraft which have the call sign Zian Prime 0 while the President of Zamastan is on board.
