History
The company Sümminger Getränkebrunnen GmbH was founded in 1921 in Freiz At first only alcoholic drinks were produced. In the early 1940s, the company focused on making soda drinks.
AroCola (Aro stands for aroma) was first offered for sale in June 1949. Already in the first year of production in 1949, the drink was well received by the population. AroCola was first offered internationally in NATION in 1957. After the West Besmenian Revolution, the drink was first sold in West Besmenia in 1966.
