Austrie is a sovereign state located in the north western part of the continent of Primeria. Austrie is a unitary constitutional republic with a semi-presidential regime. The motto is "Victory through equality" in reference to the fact that Austrie is a pioneering country in the advance of equality between genders, peoples and social classes. The national colours of the flag are blue and red. The capital is Rohans, located in the eastern part of the cuntry. The official language of Austrie is Primerian French. Indeed, the use of traditional languages has declined sharply since the beginning of the 20th century, due to a policy of government pressure on regional cultures in favour of the capital's culture, which is largely influenced by foreign influences. The official currency is the Chillin. 14 Lur are equivalent to 1 Primerian Franc. Austrie has a nominal GDP of 265.8 billion$ in 2021. With an unemployment rate of 8% (fourth quarter 2021), it has a "high" standard of living. Ausrie is a member of several global and regional organisations such as WEMO (World Economic and Military Organisation), IHO (International Health Organisation). The country is also part of the International Free Trade Zone (white zone), the economic alliance of the Small-Entente and the Lutèce Pact, aimed at helping nations in difficulty and, among other things, preventing a recurrence of the Great War (1969-1985)

Geography

Location and borders

Austrie is located in the north-western part of Primeria. The neighbouring countries are: Bessin in the east and Porhoët in the south. The northern and the western part are coastlines. The country has an area of 27 581 sq. km. Borders are marked with stones, but because of the fact that Austrie is in the "white zone" (International Free Trade Zone), there are no or few border controls.

Spatial distribution of people and activities

The country's fifteen largest cities alone account for a quarter of the country's population. The country's three largest cities are all in the southern part of the country, benefiting from the dynamism of neighbouring countries. For a long time, the northern regions remained more closed and traditional. This has led to significant territorial inequalities in terms of the distribution of economic activities. New industries tend to locate around towns such as Chéronsac, Longeac and Bansac, all close to the Porhoët border. The northern towns have maintained the same industrial park for 100 years, not being considered attractive due to their relative eccentricity.

The table below shows the fifteen largest cities in the country.
