Bessin
Bessin is a sovereign state located on the continent of Primeria. The Bessin is a unitary constitutional republic with a semi presidential republic. The motto has always been "Freedom, Prosperity, Wisdom". The national colours of the flag are blue, white and yellow with a white band and yellow motifs surrounding it. The capital is Caen. The official language of Bessin is French. Dialects such as Normand, Tourangeau, Berrichon, Orleanais, Gallo, Angevin and Cauchois are considered secondary languages and are spoken by about 85% of the population. The official currency is the Franc Bessinois. Bessin has a rather important geopolitical role in the world, with a large network of embassies and consulates in all countries of the continent. The Bessin was repeatedly ranked in the 1800s, 1850s and 1940s as the world’s first rate of soft power thanks to its broad diplomatic reach, cultural richness and the strong international relations skills of its presidents. The Bessin is the world’s seventh largest economy with a nominal GDP of US$241.9 billion in 2021. With an unemployment rate of 1.7% (fourth quarter 2021), it has a “very high” standard of living (6th in the HDI ranking in 2021). The Bessin is a world leader in the aerospace, fishing, automotive, chemical and agricultural sectors. The culture of Bessin is very old and supported by its citizens, who are very conservative and proud of their traditions. The Bessin is a member of several global and regional organizations such as the WEMO (World Economic and Military Organisation), IHO (International Health Organisation) OIS in French. The Bessin is also part of the International Free Trade Area (White Zone), the economic alliance of the Entente and the Paris Pact, aimed at helping nations in difficulty and, among other things, preventing a recurrence of the Great War (1969-1985). The Bessin is part of the BVB (Bessin-Voisey-Brenne) since its creation in 1903.
