The Aymovski Ay-01 (CDI reporting name: Fagot) is a fighter aircraft developed by the Aymovski Aircraft Corporation. The single-seat Ay-01 entered service as a manoeuvrable fighter aircraft, and later operated in fighter-bomber and reconnaissance roles in numerous conflicts. Two-seat variants remain in use for training and secondary roles within the Anikatian and Goredemabwan air forces.

Intial Anikatian built single-seat model.
Aymovski Ay-01UBK ("Fagot-B")
Intial Anikatian built Twin seat trainer used for pilot, weapons and tactical training but could also be configured for light attack.
Aymovski Ay-01BK ("Fagot-A")
Single-seat ground attack variant featured a laser rangefinder, updated navigation systems.
Aymovski Ay-01MBK ("Fagot-A")
Anikatian built highly improved single-seat fighters, feature a radar, IRST, inflight refueling, larger upgraded engines, a select number remain in service for light attack, airborne targets for naval trails and exercises.
Aymovski Ay-01UBT ("Fagot-B")
Anikatian built highly improved Two seat fighters, used for pilot, weapons and tactical training and can be used for light attack.

Experimental models

Aymovski Ay-02 ("Fagot-C")
A heavily modified with canards and a longitudinal stability augmentation system. It was designed as a testbed for a fly-by-wire system. It was later used during the development of the Ay-04MKU's fly-by-wire system.
Aymovski Ay-03A ("Fagot-D")
Variable geometry wing research prototype demonstrator. Some changes besides the wings were made including addition of a second hydraulic system. Used as a testbed for development of the Ay-04.

  • 4 × AGM-12 Bullpup or AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles or
  • up to 16 two or three inch unguided rockets (4 per pylon)
  • 1 x freefall nuclear bomb
