Baig

Baig is an honourary title granted by the Kurultai to notable politicians, statesmen, artists, and other individuals for their contributions to the welfare and culture of the Mongol Uls. The title is roughly equivalent to a life peerage, and entitles the bearer to attend Kurultai sessions as a nonvoting member.
