Baldur Hirschl (born May 18th, 1945) is a Lutharian politician who served as the President of Lutharia from May 16th, 2002, until May 20th, 2023. He was the longest-serving President in Lutharian history at 21 years, having been elected to 7 three-year terms. Born in Ilhaveia when Lutharia was a part of the Drambenburgian Empire, Hirschl and his family became refugees during the World War and lived in Blythe, Mayotte, from 1950 to 1962. When he returned to Lutharia, he became an economist professor at a university before pursuing a seat in parliament in 1988. As President, Hirschl oversaw a domestic agenda which resulted in the boosting of Lutharia's economy and an influx of international corporate investment, and a foreign policy which leaned heavily on Zamastan and its allies, including membership into WEDA in 2022.
