Bennom is the capital of the Qolaysian province of South Banhi, the second-largest city on the island of Banhi (after the island's name sake city), and the fifth-largest city in Qolaysia. Located on westernmost point of Banhi, it is one of the earliest port cities in Southeast Adula. The city has a population around 600,000 people, with a sizable metro population as well.

The city is one of the important financial, commercial, industrial, transportation, and entertainment hub of the archipelago, arguably second only to Leonrau, and the Port of Ajung Perak is Qolaysia's second-busiest seaport. The city is also known for being one of the cleanest and greenest in Qolaysia. It is also the birthplace of the current President of Qolaysia, Abiel Kennard.
