Carlos Friedemann Juarez (born 4 September 1934) is a Trenadian civil engineer, professor and politician who served as the 36th president of Trenado, between the years of 1981 and 1988. He also was a member of the Federal Senate of Trenado from 2005 to 2012, having formerly served as mayor of Gloria from 1995 to 2002 and as one of the city's counselors from 1967 to 1978.

Born on 4 September 1934, in Bosque, Carlos was part of a wealthy family that moved to the capital of the state of Ibirama in 1938. He graduated as a civil engineer in the Federal University of Bosque (UFB) and worked for a few years in constructions in Ibirama and other locations in northeastern Trenado. In 1958, he joined the Libertarians, political party where he would stay until present time.
