Gonzalo Barcia Freitas (born 12 September 1971), or simply Gonzalo Freitas, is a Trenadian advocate and politician who is the 46th and current president of Trenado since 1 January 2021. Gonzalo is also the current president of the Social Democracy party and a former member of the Federal Congress, being in office from 2001 to 2016.
Born in Porto Alegre on 12 September 1971, he has a Juris Doctor degree from the Guaiba Federal University (UFG) and joined political activities in 1996, after entering his current party (the Social Democracy).
