The Land Forces of the National People's Army (Barrois: Forccas tiara de l'Armata populará naccional; Liguersien: Forças tèrras de l'armata populara naçonal) is the ground-based military branch of the National People's Army . The Land Forces are responsible for carrying out all land operations of the National People's Army, assisting in humanitarian and relief efforts, and assisting allies, more specifically MASSOR, in military operations. The Land Forces Command is headquartered in the city of Llo, and was established in 1986 following the dissolution of the South Euclean People's Republic.

Organization

During peacetime, the Land Forces was under the command of the eponymous Army Command or Army staff (Comando de l'armata; ComArm). The largest formations in the Land Forces are the Military District IV (Eastern) and Military District II (Western), both formations contain three active, full-strength divisions and their support units. In peacetime, the 1e. Motorized Rifle Division "Bastitou Courderç" is under the command of the V Military District, but during war, would be transferred to the East Miersan Southern Military District, where it'd be expected to participate in the capture of West Żobrodź.

Outside of the two districts, independent formations such as the 16th, and 21st Air Assault Regiments, and additional artillery and support units, are under the direct control of the ComArm.

On the outbreak of armed conflict, the two districts are transformed into armies, the V Military District turning into the 4th Army, reinforced by the 32nd, 10th, and 18th Reserve Divisions, and the II Military District turning into the 1st Army, reinforced by the 19th Reserve Division and 30th and 62nd regiments. Both armies are expected to be remain outside the command of a unified MAO headquarters, but would be expected to coordinate closely with MAO command.
